
The Ryugyong Kimchi Factory turns out kimchi, a traditional Korean dish and one of the world’s five health foods, and other processed vegetables based on the industrial and scientific production lines.
The factory has established an integrated manufacturing system and put the organization of production, business management and quality control on an IT and scientific footing. All its production processes are automated and streamlined.
Workplaces are separated from corridors, and fermenting, maturing and packing rooms are linked to the finishing process to make the production environment germ- and dust-free.
The factory is also furnished with the state-of-the-art analyzing facilities for an overall analysis of kimchi productsand others, thus fully guaranteeing the quality and hygienic safety of products.
In its effort to diversify the products and introduce scientific and standardized production methods, the factory turns out kimchi varieties including whole cabbage kimchi, sliced radishes and cabbages pickled and seasoned with red pepper powder, white kimchi, chonggak kimchi, nutritious kimchi for children, bean sprout kimchi, cucumber kimchi and cubed radish kimchi, and pickled radish, Pleurotus eryngii and agaric.
The factory now strives to steadily raise the industrial level of kimchi-making while further upgrading the production processes.
