Furnished with capsule, pill and injection production lines, it mass-produces various medicines including Insam Berberin Injection.

Salvia Miltiorrhiza and Bezoar Capsule, Youngeron Capsule, Polycarin Capsule and other medicines developed by the factory won diplomas and cups at international medicine exhibitions for their medical efficacy.

Insam Berberin Injection, high in demand in international markets, is prepared by combining valid elements in the world-famous Kaesong Koryo insam with natural berberin glutamate, an active antibiotic. As it has special virtues for preventing proliferation and transfer of cancerous cells, treating diabetes, arteriosclerosis and other diseases and enhancing immunocompetence, it was awarded a WIPO diploma in April 2024.
