Korea Myohyang Trading Corporation is an authoritative organization of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea engaged in economic and trading transactions with foreign entities. Established on January 14, 1988, the corporation, previously called Korea Sonbong Trading Corporation, has developed into an internationally acknowledged creditable and proficient organ over the past 30-odd years.

The corporation has dozens of trading companies, exports producers, aquaculture farms, fisheries stations, mines, hotels, shops and restaurants. Also, it runs more than 20 joint venture companies in the country in cooperation with foreign counterparts, while operating over 30 branches, a wig factory and restaurants in European and Asian countries—these are all effective means of economic and trading transactions with relevant countries.
